The Brushless racing League will be making there stop at Victory Hobbies the feb 29th thru march 2nd. Due to the Limited practice time the BRL allows in the rules and the amount of BRL drivers asked about running on the Dirt Oval.

We will have a Dirt oval race ( club style ) on feb 29th begining at 5pm, Second Round at 6pm and mains at 7pm. This will allow us time to finish and get ready for BRL Carpet Oval practice for the 2 rounds of practice at 8pm that night

Rubber tires ( without pins ) are normally the best bet as foams really haven't hooked up to well. These are some of the Bigger classes but will run anything there is more than 3 of

Anyone who is signing up for the BRL race will race dirt for free on friday night. Other will pay $10.00

Drop Corey Heft a PM. He would know for sure what they are doing for lap times these days.

67/403 laps was the best anyone had ran this year I think in 10.5. 3.5's are real good for 10.5. If frank goes he'd probably do 4's or 3's though and 69 laps lol. This weekend is the WBRL race so it should be a good warmup for anyone interested, racing is on saturday. Alot of guys are going to trackside on sunday as well, mod shootout on sunday!

Thanks guys for handling the roll call while my home computer is in the shop.

Looks like we are off to a good start. I've talked with several more that are coming.

Might be a good chance to grab some points or maybe earn and entry into the Novak All-Star Challenge in Omaha. 8 drivers fighting it out for a share of the $1500 purse, Sounds like good odds to me .

Looking forward to our annual trip to Cheeseland

Racers,

Following the BRL Race I will be taking a leave of absence as Race Director at Victory Hobbies until mid October to take on the roll of Defensive Coordinator for the Green Bay Gladiators. They are a Semi Pro team in the Northern Elite Football League. This league starts in March and ends the end of July.

The Green Bay Gladiators are an AAA rated semi-professional football team, and they were established in the winter of 2006. If you wish you can follow our progress at www.gbgladiators.com

After the Semi Pro season is finished I will once again work with the kids of Duck Creek Pop Warner football here in Howard-Suamico. I have been a Head coach in this league since 2003 and have enjoyed even minute of it.

I also have accepted a Coaching Position with West De Pere Middle School for there 7th & 8th grade programs. This role (if the same as last year) will involve various jobs like scouting for the Varsity Teams.

As you can see this will take up a lot of time which will keep me away from the track until the seasons are over. I have been coaching sports on and off since I Graduated High School in 1982 and an opportunity finally came that I may be able to use as a stepping stool to other opportunities.

I will look forward to returning to races once I finish. With my coaching
