After WWII and before the merging with Simca, Ford France produced the Comète, bodywork by Facel and Ford V8 engine. This luxury coupé wasn't a good seller, its production stopped after 3 years.

I love that car. It's so beautiful that I can't imagine why it wasn't popular. It still looks clean and modern to me.
