Barry Morse died last Saturday at 89. Morse appeared in many tv shows including The Twilight Zone and The Fugitive, but would likely be best known here as Dr. Victor Bergman in Space:1999.

Here a video Morse made just a few months ago for the impending release of his autobiography.

And another funny reminisence of the foam from hell in "Space Brain"

Morse was a good actor. Let's not start "the rule of three thing" again, please?

He was my favorite character from Space:1999.

This is weird. I just watched "Space Brain" last week!

I liked the way he used to say, 'ah... John...' It was one of the best things about Space:1999. Freiberger should have left him in it.

I'm sorry to hear about Barry Morses passing.I liked the character of Victor very much. When Space 1999 was retooled for its second season Victor was no longer in the series.Truth is Barry Morses acting abilty would have been wasted on year 2.Space 1999s second season was awful.I like its first year so much more and that includes Barry Morse Guy S.

I just found out about his passing at the "Another Con Another Place" website (for this year's Space: 1999 convention in Canada). I've been watching the new 1999 Megaset. I'm sorry to see "Uncle Barry" (sa 1999 fans came to call him) will not longer be around.

Lt. Philip Gerard in "The Fugitive". No not the new one either. The original. No bloody A, B, C OR D.
