Classes and Rules:

17.5/27t Stock: This class loosely follows both ROAR & BRL rules, and is meant as a class that will suit stock racers from different areas. Motors allowed are ROAR-legal Brushed Stock Motors, or 17.5 Brushless systems (no tuning rotors allowed). 4 minute heats and mains.
13.5 BRL Pan Cars: This class is run by BRL rules, with the exception that we will allow the back of the body to be cutout. No wings, however. 4 minute heats and mains.
10.5 BLR Pan Cars: This class is run by BRL rules. 4 minute heats and mains.
Losi Mini-Slider: This class is run with essentially box-stock rules, and cars MUST use a house transponder. Be sure to check the rules page on this class! 4 minute heats and mains.
Outlaw 4300 Sprints: This class is for 10th scale sprint cars, such as C&M Cobra, Custom Works, etc. 4 minute heats and mains. 4300 (10.5) motor required.
Mini (18th Scale) Open: This will be an open class for any mini car or truck. Motors are open (brushed or brushless).
General Note on Classes: Often times, we get asked about "other" classes, such Legends, TC Oval, 6 cell stock, etc. classes. We will purchase trophies for the above listed classes ONLY, as they will be personalized to the class. You ARE welcome to race a class not listed above. However, we MUST have a minimum of four to a class (for marshalling). If you show up with the only intention of running, say, Legends- understand there is the possibility that you will NOT be racing. Keep that in mind, please. We'll do our best to accommodate you, but will adhere to the rules, and will not compromise (I.E., there MUST be four cars, we will NOT allow you to race in another class that's "close")
.
Gotta question about our rules? CLICK HERE (http://www.michianarc.com/index.php?option=com_fireboard&Itemid=49&func=showcat&catid=4) to see our rules page.

Last but not least….
EXHIBITION – INSANE SPEED RUN!!!

Before the mains, we’ll run an Insane Speed Run. This is open to just about anything you can run that won’t tear up the carpet. Basically, you have three laps on the clock. Fastest single lap wins. This is a $5.00 entry at the track, winner take all!

Let's review: Killer oval racing on a short track. Free shirt if you act now. Plaques for the top three in the A-Main. And, you get FED! What are ya waiting for? Sign up now, or miss out!

So, back to our regularly scheduled program.

I've been asked about a few of the rules on our website.

1) We noted "no tuning rotors" in the brushless motors. To clarify- Novak put out some 13mm rotors, called "tuning rotors". They're not legal by BRL rules, nor by ROAR rules. They're not legal here, either.

2) 13.5: While the BRL calls for the back of the body to be left intact, we WILL allow the back to be cutout. You can run the standard maximum 3/4" spoiler, but NO wing. Reason being, many tracks are allowing the backs cut out, the performance gain is minimal at BEST, and without the rear bumper, it makes it more difficult to punt someone out of the way.

Geez, Todd, you guys are putting together one heck of a program there,
I hope you get a ton of entries...
If you don't, there is something wrong with the racers in your area!!!

SUPPORT THESE GUYS, RACERS!!
These are the types of promotors you want to race with!!

Good call on the allowed 13.5 body mod..
We have a guy out here that can kick serious butt either way,
so you are right on, the difference, is VERY minimal, and it saves guys
running weeklies, with cutouts, an opportunity to run with no added cost..

Good luck, friend!! Dan:thumbsup:

Thanks for the kind words, Dan... You know... You could grab a few guys and road-trip out- think you could deal with Hanson for 15 hours? Or, South Bend has an airport...

Sure we could find you a place to crash...

IDK Todd Them Putnams are fast but the CO27 is faster. Any motor can be fast as long as you know how to tune it. Thats what brian deel is good at!!!!
The best stock racer I have ever known.

Sorry Guys dident mean this in a bad way!! Cheating i mean tuning. you know cutting comms, Dyno tuning, Spring combos stuff like that. I give deel credit for everything he has done.

Hey guys....remember to fill out the form found "HERE (http://www.michianarc.com/index.php?option=com_docman&task=doc_download&gid=7&Itemid=29)" for your pre-registration.

Use the "Submit by email" button at the bottom of the form.

Ken, if you could give the form another try, that would be great.

also, Conde, need a form from you as well. Anybody else on the thread that has said "I'm in for" needs to have a form filled out in order to qualify for the t-shirt deal. It's the only way I can failry keep track of who the 1st 30 are for the free t's.

If the form isn't working for you for some reason (Your email program or older version of acrobat reader, you can email me the info at:
