I'm currently working on a Kohler CV23 that has self destructed. I removed the #1 cylinder head valve cover to find the intake valve spring hanging, rocker arm off the valve stem :eek:
Then, I pulled the head, and found the valve guide for the intake valve broken, and some tiny chips on the face of the piston. Has anyone seen something like this? I read that the guides are not replaceable now I have to find a new head. If anyone has a good used one, please contact me...
