Didn't know if this is old news or not, but I saw a commercial for them on TV this morning

Yeah. But it explodes when you open it.

I am almost through the entire set now, and I have really been enjoying it.

Supposedly season 3 was the 'worst' season, according to the special features included in the set.

The only things season 3 actually had wrong with it (to me) were an amazingly large number of Batman TV series music cues used liberally in nearly every episode, and numerous groups of generic Batman TV series 'uniformed' groups of henchmen also sprinkled liberally throughout the season. Maybe they got them at closeout prices or something. These really jarred me out of the show while I was watching U.N.C.L.E. episodes.

The absolutely worst thing about season 3 was the silly kazoo music included in The Hot Number (The Sonny And Cher) Affair. Truly obnoxious.

The special features were interesting and fun to watch. I especially liked the memorabilia tour, and the U.N.C.L.E. car feature.

Truly obnoxious.By the third season, a lot of the episodes were being played for outright camp. I remember that one, set in New York's garment district, as being particularly over-the-top. IIRC, the McGuffin was some sort of secret message encoded in the pattern on a dress. Cher played a model named Ramona and Sonny played a dork.

I got season one and I'm enjoying the heck out of it. Can't afford the whole set all at once, so I'll be getting the seasons every couple of months.

I'd stop at Season One with most Sixties TV series. They almost all went downhill with subsequent seasons.

Picked up Volume One of The Outer Limits at Borders with a "40% Off" coupon. Watched The Zanti Misfits with my 8 year-old daughter last night. It creeped her out just as much as it did me when I was about her age.

So far not the case with Mission Impossible and Hawaii 5-0. I'm just hoping they release past season 3 for each of them.

Mission's 4th season is set for release on May 13.

No definite date for 5-0.... rumored to be June.
