I race stock truck on a 110 foot carpet oval track. I have been using a 27 turn p2k2 motor, but i have noticed that some of the guys have been using 19 Turn motors like the Chameleon. Would i be better off going with a 19 turn motor, if speed is what i'm lacking?

No, I'd complain they are cheating if the class is "Stock Truck". If there aren't any requirements regarding motor, then yeah, stick a 19T in there. Stock class to most tracks means stock motor, and 19T's aren't stock. Check the rules...ask someone in charge about the motor requirements.

My feelings were the same on the whole "stock" class idea, but i believe they may let it go with 19 turns, since some RTR trucks come with a 19 turn motor. It's just frustrating, when i'm taking perfect lines and some kid gets better lap times when he is all over the track

I was running "Truck Sock" class and since it was only a couple guys, we decided to try 19T ultrabirds. Interesting thing is the fast time only went from 77-5.03 to about 80-5.02. The truck feels tons faster, but we only picked up 4%.
