mking 01-29-2008, 06:54 PM both wizzard and scale auto/bsrt sell silicone sponge coated tires....but they are spendy!!! $10-12/pair
if your making your own race rules, consider high quality slip on silicones. i really like supertires for magnet cars.

they last forever and dont stretch. some people use double flanged rims to keep the tire from coming off the rim, but ive had good luck with supertires on stock hubs.
WesJY 01-29-2008, 07:08 PM oh yeah i use supertires forever since 2000 i love them (i even have like 100 pairs left) they are the best no question about it.. I just want some for my modified srt and tyco chassis. I know they are expensive. thanks for the info i ll look into wizzard and scale auto.

SwamperGene 01-29-2008, 07:32 PM Wes, go to rabbitracing.com
Right outta Joisey for around 6 bucks a pair.
SwamperGene 01-29-2008, 08:10 PM For Tyco sizes you could also try calling The Groove in East Greenville PA at (215) 679-2260He had a bunch of silly-sponge tires on the wall made by Jester Racing (dunno if they're still made). Tyco sizes are "huge" by today's Slottech/BSRT/Wiz standards, so they don't move too quick anymore....I'm guessing you could snag some for around $4-$5 a pair, maybe less.

Hornet 01-30-2008, 10:05 AM I also asked if they'd last on a R/O Chris.
Dragula 01-30-2008, 02:44 PM I will check to make sure we have strong enough foam to handle those.:)
