MARCH MADNESS WILL BE HELD MARCH 8,2008 at 11:00am sharp. Doors will open at 8:00am. The track will be open Fri from 1pm to 9:00pm for practice. Other classes will be added (but no trophies) as needed with 3 vehicles or more making a class. Everyone is invited. We expect a large turnout and would suggest that anyone that has a tent or trailer and tables to pit from, might want to bring them and would be greatly appreciated. Ample outdoor electricity is available. In the interest of keeping the program moving, we will have 4 minute races (5 minutes if numbers allow it).
The track is located at 1400 Teal Road (Also is State Road 25) behind Wendy's and Shellies Resturants in Jefferson Square Mall in Lafayette,IN. RC Hobbies Plus (765-471-6088) is the host hobby shop and will remain open during practice and racing. Snack food and candy available in the hobby shop and pop machines outside.
Box stock slider is exactly that-BOX STOCK-with 1100 asc batteries allowed. No other mods. Altered stock is stock motor, 1600 batteries (no lipos), threaded shocks, any radio, stock tires, ball diffs, durability mods only.
Slatemodel is a latemodel bodied modified slider, brushless, etc ok with 5 second breakout rule. It is very easy to breakout, radically modified cars will find it difficult to not breakout.
Entry fees will be $25 for the first and $20 for each additional. We are making a strong effort to have a nice door prize drawing. Details as they are available.
