View Full Version : Bulldog Raceway in Radcliff, KY.
Tshirt Man 01-27-2008, 05:01 PM I recently found out about the new track in Radcliff, KY. It is a flat track, 94' x 34' with 10' lanes. The carpet is ozite (thanks Tim Gore) and AMB timing system so personal transponders are welcome. I understand a big THANKS goes out to Maurice (Hey Maurice) from Trio too for all the help. Photos of the track coming. So stay tuned.
The doors open at 9:00am and racing starts at 4:00pm. The classes are Nascar with 4 cell batteries 4600 max. and 10.5 brushless (4800 sintered rotors). Legends 4 cell spec batteries, spec motors. There is also a 6.0 breakout class. Stock offroad trucks too. I am sure that there are more to come.
I plan on making the trip from Lexington this next weekend.

Tshirt Man 01-28-2008, 12:30 PM Between the original location and where Trio ended up. Not in the same shopping center but before it.

BMCALLISTER01 01-28-2008, 07:42 PM Looks like its going to be a blast. I cant wait.
Brad Boling 01-28-2008, 09:10 PM Thats great they have a new track in Radcliff up and running. The New Castle, IN gang used to come down to Trio a couple of times a year and run when they were still operating. That track was an absolute blast, and Maurice was a hell of a host! Good luck with the track, I am sure I will be down there sometime soon.

BMCALLISTER01 02-05-2008, 10:52 PM I Had a great time running with you guys. It was fun to get back oval racing. Rick and I havent had the chance to race since last winter..I was surprised my 4200's were still good after sitting all that time. One thing I would like to see is 3 heats. Its a long drive to get to run only 2 heats and a main. Anyway great racing guys and cant wait to get back.
Tshirt Man 02-06-2008, 06:27 AM I would like to start sooner in the day too, 12:30 is really late to keep a future R/C driver out. I think that in another few weeks Willbill is going to keep getting faster and faster too! I don't mind paying extra for the 3rd heat! I just want to race! But like Bmac said its a long way to travel to run only 2 heats, especially when racing with fuzzy face, silver fox, thunderfoot, beerman Moore!
Tshirt Man 02-06-2008, 06:29 AM Do we have any 12th scale interest? I will bring mine again this week too. I am determined to get it going around the track. I would like to run open modified with these little land rockets! Anyone interested?
BDR609 02-06-2008, 11:10 PM Anybody have a 10.5 system they want to sell?????(motor and speed controller)

Indiana 02-07-2008, 11:21 PM Yeah,I would like to run 3 heats also.We could start an hour earlier or not qualify.Anyway ,the more racing the better it is!
