hi guy....i want to know if it s normal that at 3min my car stop when i m running a 3.5R with my gtb 4cells....i changed the wire t 12GA..i try 1 teeth lower and it seem to be ok...but i feell i miss some speed!! do you think if i change the speedo for a LRP sphere 2007 it will be fine with 1more teeth on the rollout????

week 1...gtb 4cells box stock with 3.5r shutdown at 3min
week 2...gtb 4cells with 12GA wire with 3.5r with 1 teeth less ok

Pace with 3.5 you really want to be running the 6 cells version with a heatsink and fan

I had alot of problems running 3.5 4cell. I installed Novaks reciever capacitor and it did help alot. The motor pulled so much juice out of the pack it caused alot of radio problems. It proved to be more motor than I could keep on the track. We now run 17.5 lipo as the Mod class and it's pretty much about as fast but much easier to handle, receiver is much happier with all the battery to. I would say I think you will need very good 4-cell packs to keep the 3.5 well fed.

PACE...Steve and i ran a novak(4cell version) with a 3.5...no fan or heatsink...no problem....i even ran NO receiver pack...btw ...ran great...4th finish for me...and Steve was a mere .17 behind the pole( 2nd to D'Agnolo )...
