No dice.. Autozone had molded rubber hoses.. But I doubted the rubber would handle the temps. What temperatures do these run at? willyplankhead 01-27-2008, 07:26 PM I went to O'Riely and Autozone.. No dice.. Autozone had molded rubber hoses.. But I doubted the rubber would handle the temps. What temperatures do these run at?thats the last 2 places i have got mine from they probly didnt understand what you wanted 1/4scale 01-27-2008, 07:32 PM VW shops all have it , defroster hose also it needs to be 1 inch diameter "Aluminum Preheater Hose" Bill 6victor6 01-27-2008, 07:40 PM ORiley had some, just too big.. And I specified aluminum at autozone and he replied, I hadn't seen that in awhile" Maybe it's cuz I live in the sticks... I'll try Napa tomorrow. Do the motors get too hot for the rubber hoses? I tried to find out what temps they could handle but I didn't see it mentioned anywhere.. willyplankhead 01-27-2008, 07:45 PM i have used 1inch to 1&1/2 inch i like the bigger sounds better jbell31 01-27-2008, 07:58 PM The rubber will not hold up and holds the heat too long. The aluminum 1inch is the only way to go. I'm just going to figure out how to do a deflector and call it a day. The hose stuff is a pain and keeps comming apart the way I have my motor. fasteddie09 01-27-2008, 08:14 PM Go to www.glqsr.com click on Dan performamce. He has what you need. Tim Mc 01-27-2008, 11:48 PM Check my post #3 for a direct link to Dan's. I also use the hose on my own naca ducts...
