The new SCX 2008 releases including the Audi R10 and the Peugeot LM908 HDI will have a different style chip which will allow you to switch from analog to Digital and then back again by switching the chips. The analog version of the Audi R10 and Peugeot LM908 have already been released and come with the new analog chip. In a few months a digital chip will be released for these cars to convert them to Digital. Bryan talks about this in one of his newly posted videos. That is really cool! The only thing I'm not diggin about the SCX cars are those copper strips they use. Grant it, its what's giving them their ability to do what they are doing here, but to me, it just adds weight to the car that could be lightened with wires.
I guess they figure with their motors and functionality racers will look beyond the weight thing. I don't know. I love the SCX Audi R8 Pro that I have, but not too fond of the other SCX's.
Cool stuff though.....may really revolutionize the way we look at our slot cars!
Thanks for posting that up Brian!
