SF are $3.47 the new ones are not even on cards. i had always liked

That is a different packaging look. I wonder why MB did that? Hearse looks sweet though...cant wait to find that one.

I also picked up that hearse and added a few more friends ....there are some great looking cars in this new wave...

There are 10 models in this wave numberes 1-10. THey come in a box that is usually hidden in the Matchbox section beneath the 5-packs. The Mini (Plum color) is in this set. This is a new marketing theme to use shelf space and save peg space. The Desert Thunder sports the names of the Mattel team on each side in the sponsor labels. I noticed that the Flatbed Truck is a tribute to former Matchbox Marketing manager Grant Chapman. He was at the Gathering last year and has moved on to head the games and puzzle division at Mattel. Another excellent 10 models in this set.
