Have a quick question to thoughs tire people out there. What is a good set of tires to run on a flat 130ft oval.

I have found that White rears Green LF and Purple RF is the regular setup for flat oval tracks.

What is a advanced setup for tires or is there one.

LOPRO OR REGULAR

What does a LOPRO Tire like 2.0Inch tire do compared to a 2.3 inch tire.
Is it faster or just less gear?

I have seen a lot of brushless guys going to LOPRO tires is this true or just for show.

Can you afford to run your tires that short?

If you have an unlimited budget, the short tires work really well on carpet because they are less prone to letting the tire flex the sidewall and traction roll.

For weekly or club racing - it's (IMHO) not really worth it - but SAVE those short tires for Bigger races.

If you are talking about droop in the rear pod, it helps with rear traction when you take off or come off of the corners. No droop will cause the rear tires to spin off or spin taking off. I run about 5 deg on mine. Front droop will help the car turn better.
