I like Testor's model glue. It dries fast but not too fast, so you can still make any adjustments you may need while it dries

I apologize Bill (41 Willys) and will attempt to clarify. You can use any glue you want. I only dread cars that have been CA'ed because more work is required for me to remove the offending glues and then execute the liquid plastic repairs. For this reason I try to encourage people who send me repair or restoration work to avoid using glues that I later have to remove.
A clean break is much easier for me to refit/repair. When the CA, epoxy or what have you is removed to clean the joint prior to bonding; a square firm joint is harder to do. This is because a minute amount of parent material is removed during the cleaning process and the edges of the seam no longer match perfectly. Irregularity always means more work.
So my whole song and dance about CA or worse yet epoxy, is relative only to cars that will be restored in genuine plastic. The repairs are color sanded and buffed to a near original state. I dont paint in the conventional sense. It is more like re-fusing the plastic, sculpting it back to it's original condition, and polishing. Therefore any foriegn matter in the mix is prohibitive. It gives me fits!
It's an entirely different process. So use whatever Glue you are comfortable with for any car you plan to repaint in the conventional way. My personal trip about "dreaded glues" is associated to my liquid plastic adventures and in no way should it be applied to cars not slated for liquid plastic repair. Have fun, whatever way gets it done for you. Again, sorry for any confusion on the matter.

No need to apologize. It was my misunderstanding of what you were doing that lead me to my question. Your skills leave me speachless every time I see your restorations.
VJ thanks for you advice as well.
