Hi Everyone,

Here is a set I had picked up at the train show a few weeks ago. The cars are approx 1/43 scale and are made by Lionel Route 66. I though it was kind of different then the standard diecast I buy.

Wow - what a great set! My favorite is the white Rambler, with the Hudson second. Is the upper left one a Packard Woody? I can't quite tell, but the black one looks like a '59 Plymouth. Do you know what year these were produced? Congrats on the find!

Hi,

I was told they were produced around 1999 or 2000 and it is a limited edition set. Lionel does put them cars on the flatbed car, but I was told that one of them cars in the set was never put on top of the train car. So it makes it even more exclusive.

That's a very nice set! Thanks for sharing.

I would have guessed it was made in the '80's or early '90's.
