I have a duratrax ESC with a motor limit of 18t and i was wondering if they say do not using anything lower just to be safe or can i go down to like a 15t or 12t.
Thanks

to be safe I wouldnt run anything lower than a 19T.a 15t would melt that poor esc in no time.It would just draw too much amperage for the fets in the esc to handle and poof!! esc meltdown.

15 would probably work, get a novak little fan and put it on top of it.

man the duratrax esc's are still running old school mosfets, even with the fan you will be buying a new esc in no time. Serious, until you can afford to get a decent esc dont chance it, play it safe, and let the esc live to run another day!
