Folks,
A future slotter was born last Thursday, his name is Luke! 7 lbs, 7 oz. and 20 inches long. Feet and hands of a future athlete!
Wife and I are adopting him, we're out here in frozen Indiana waiting for the interstate compact to clear in order to bring him home. We've adopted his biological sister, Olivia, 16 months ago... we've been blessed to be in the delivery room for both births. To say the least, we're on cloud 9 right now.
Luke is proving to be a healthy eater, good sleeper and isn't too fussy so far. We'll probably be here until Thursday or Friday (latest). Given the euphoria of our new boy, we're dealing with waiting in a hotel room in the dead of winter with the newborn and a very patient todler :p I'll be off to Chucky Cheese to occupy some time with his older sister this afternoon. 16 months apart, we've got our hands full, but like I said, absolutely blessed to have the privelege of raising these kids!
In a few years, they'll be occupying lanes 2 and 3 and beating their dad around the track ;)
