Just curious to know if tracks are using other Brushless motors besides Novak. Other Companies are coming out with there version of 13.5 and 10.5, etc. Looking to see if anyone has experimented with others to see any advantage/disadvantage between them.

As far as oval goes I don't know of anywhere allowing motors other than Novak.

pmsimkins hit it on the head~
Most of the oval guys who have migrated to Brushless have (pretty much with a gentlemans agreement) agreed to stick with a single MFG. of B/L motors.
This eliminates the always perceived "Motor of the Week" deal, and allows for some of THE BEST racing oval guys have had in years.
When you start throwing other motors in the mix, then it goes back to Who's getting what from Whom...and the percepetion is that one may have something with a performance advantage, etc.
There are still things guys can do to have advantages...
Body and body mounting
Chassis and setup
Tires and compounds
Gearing, etc...
so there are still plenty of things for strategy and so on...but MOTORS are of very little concern. (Same goes for most of the places that have agreed to stick with ONE type of LIPO battery)
ORION 3200 LIPO and NOVAK B/L motors - making racing easier on the wallet, easier on time, and MORE fun across the board on race day. (With this combo, we picked up 9 NEW racers at our LOCAL race yesterday - and every one of them commented on HOW nice it was to not have to mess with or worry about MOTORS and BATTERIES.
AMEN!! to that! Stick with one motor and one battery company..
