Did this one last fall too.
If I remember it seemed like I was kinda bored at the time. Of course the hobby knife was within reach.
Picked out another dog chewed HR from the "maybe box". The rear valence was cracked waaaay up into the trunk and the rear post was snapped off under the trunk leaving a hole. I thought how in the H E double hockey sticks did they do that?
Again if memory serves, the bed sides are T-jet XKE sides planed for flat. The tail panel is a Maserati roof that just happened to be close...and best of all red! ;) Tonneau is a scrap of Woody roof left over from the dually Woody bus project. Bed caps are AC Cobra front fender crowns rough profiled to fit.
Again awaiting the block the bed caps will be re-shaped/rolled to a more delicate and less delta wing configuration. LOL! Things were kinda sticky and wiggly at the time so once again I set it aside to cure....snicker...
Three months later I picked it up and ran it around the track during a re-organization last night. The bed width could have been a little narrower in my eyes as hindsight is always 20/20...but ya gotta crack eggs to make an omlet. Not sure about the visor effect on the forward roof overhang. It was left to debate at the time. She's just a weirdo prototype that established a learning curve. I'm hoping to save it... ;)
