I have been running a Novak SS+ with a 5800 motor (original bonded rotor)in my T4 on a carpet oval and after a run the motor is barely warm,the highest temp I have gotten on my temp gauge was 109 degrees. I usually run 3 minute heats and a 4 minute main although I practiced Saturday till I killed a 3700 pack and still no heat.

Now my question is--- Do the brushless motors dissapate heat really quickly? I usually temp the motor after marshalling but have also done it immediately after returning to my pit.

I am pretty close on my gearing (I think---good top end and wheelie tourqe off the line) but can try another tooth or two.

Any input would be appreciated.
