I am looking to get back into r/c and am liking the truggy's. I am considering about racing seriously but dont want to spend stupid money for one. I was wanting to stay in the 1/10 scale but cant find a 4wd platform to mount my rear exhaust os. .18 tz into. So now i am considering the 1/8 scale. I have been looking around and have only found a couple that i think (not that i should really know) would be fairly good to race with at a good price. I like the losi Muggy and the ofna mutilator, but there are so many out there iam not sure. Thats alot of cash to throw out there if i choose one that won't hold up. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

the losi muggy is a really good truggy i have one and that thging is slick but you will want to put silicone diff fluid in the diffs and you dont need to invest in all the expensive hopup parts because that thing is indestructible  but i am going to be getting a losi 8t here before spring the losi 8ts are a true racing truggy but anybody can tell you what are the best but you will have to decide and you wallet

Thanks for all the advice. I like the 8t, but for just starting in the competetive race scene that a little to much jack to throw down. If things go right i may be able to sqeack it but it aint lookin good. The more information i gather on the muggy, it seems a bit cumbersome. Probably because it was derived from the lst. I think i am gonna go with the jammin, but i havent checked into the kyoshos, once again, thanks for all the advice.
