I have an old HPI rs4 that I built about 4-5 years ago and I want to get it up to date with some new electronics in it.I have a older novak esc that could do up to 10 cells and ran it with a few different motors and I want to go lipo now with a brushless system.

I saw a mag8 70amp esc on ebay and wanted to know if I can use that with a novak 3.5r brushless motor with 11v going into it.The ecu looks like it was made for planes but Im not sure.

any help would be nice

after some research Im going with the mamba max esc and a unsensored brushless 2.5-3.5 turn motor.

Now to find a decent lipo pack
