I have had what I thought were problems with my XBR brushless setup.

It ended up that they were mostly my fault, I thought that I would pass them on to save someone the hassle.

First i am running 4 cells, my car would run fine for some laps on a full charge, then sputter/miss, and finally quit running. After asking some questions, I found that the lipo cutoff was on killing the power at 6.25 volts.

Second my car would run fine, then miss/sputter, run slow, and finally quit. After running it on a stand, and pulling on, and moving wires, I found that the harness, from the speed control to the reciever wasn't making good contact at the speed control. I haven't really found a good fix for this yet, as it still happens out of the clear blue sometimes.

The only problem i have with mine is that sometimes when waiting for the buzzer to go off for the race, The car will go backwards and the esc is set with reverse off. Other then that works great. I run 4-cell with mine.

I am running mine in 4 cell 1/12, I also had problems with the receiver lead. I cut the plug off the lead and soldered it to the bottom side of the plug posts and problem solved.wow butters never heard of them running backwards with the reverse turned off, that's a new one on me.By the way the 3300's I bought from you a couple weeks back rock!!! all 4 6cell packs take around 3900- to 4000 mah of charge and the voltage is killer!!
