Well, I finally bought a Batmobile Hotwheel car for 97 cents from Target the other day. I'm glad I didn't have to pay Amazon.com $10 for the car. :)

Walmart had some in the last year,picked up some,awesome car!! Can't wait for the 1/18 scale!!! I wonder when the official release will be,and I was told there would be good, better and best versions.

Its not off topic on the Diecast Hotwheels BB. Good score, though. I lurk the Johnny Lightning BB for my slotcar collection. I notice Rolland been around the HobbyBoards at least as long as me and it got me wondering where other members might lurk and read and post here at Hobby Talk. I have various interests from Aurora models and slots, movies, R.C. cars, small engines, and computers. Hank has a great place here. Pretty much a one stop . com place for me...blah blah. Oh well,

Alot of the original Polar Lights Bulletin Board are still around, but they don't post as often as they used to. It took me a while to find out about HobbyTalk. I was a PLBB member earlier than 1999, perhaps 1997 or 1998, but, for some reason my join date is listed as 1999. No big deal though. Even Lisa, the Queen of Styrene, did some posting within the past year.

I found one myself not long ago, either at Target or Wal-Mart, while I was Christmas shopping.

My tally thus far is one from Target at 98 cents, two from Amazon at $10 each (out of desperation), and three my wife found at the supermarket for 98 cents each.

Yup - its # 15.

I keep seeing them from time to time up here in Canada. In fact, my wife had one in my Christmas stocking and I saw one at a local department store a few nights ago.

Yes, it's the yellow #15. and they can also be found in some of the 10 paks which is cheaper than e-bay. Strange some people are still having problems. I usually find them at walmart or target almost each time I visit. I have about 10 and stopped collecting them.

For the 1/18 scale, remember they will have three levels of trim. Regular, Elite and Super Elite. The regular is already being advertised for pre-order at 39 dollars. The Elite at 79 dollars. Haven't seen the super elite advertised yet.

Yup - its # 15.Yes, although the 2008 line is starting to come out now -- and the #15 on a yellow background in that line is something else entirely.

The latest news I've heard regarding the 1:18 scale Batmobile is April. I don't know why they keep pushing it back.

I saw a toy adventure set that had The Batmans batmobile, at about hot wheel size. [Jokers Revenge?]

I looked all over for the Batmobile here in Tucson but couldn't find one.
I found the 6 pack at Target but never had the extra cash at the time.

The I went to California for a few weeks and found 3 at Wal Mart.

Came Home a happy camper only to go out and find 22 the next day.

Since around October 07,I have seen the 66 batmobiles at the local Acme,Dollar general, Walmart, K-mart,& Shoprite. I still look when i go into any of these stores,And they ussually have at least two or three. But i stopped buying them a while ago. As mentioned earlier on,The current #15 card with the yellow stripe for 08 is a different vehicle.It is wild after all this time the 07 #15's are now kind of plentifull. I know this past spring i didn't think i'd ever walk into a store and even see one batmobile on a peg. :freak: It is also very cool to see that mattel is supposed to do a tv version batcycle :thumbsup:

I saw the Batmobiles less than a month after they first came out.......and then I saw quite a few for a couple of months....but now it's been awhile since I've seen any.
