since the relaunch there is meant to be a chase car per wave.
(doesn't show on the back of the packaging card)... but if you put all the backs of the trading cards together like a jigsaw puzzle you have a pic of the chase car.

i have heard from an 'informed source' that chase cars represent 2% of the total production of MMs from a wave. (includes 5 pack production).

only 'chase' car prior to relaunch was the 56 ford with moon disks in the xmas hauler set from 2004? only 100 of those.. and hardly any found.

I have the 1964 Pontiac GTO (blue) chase car too from individual card. Beside that I have 5 cars pack which one of them is Pontiac GTO orange with flames.

Is the GTO on 5 pack a chase car? Any chase car on 5 pack?

none of the 5 pack cars are chase cars.
from what i hear, the chase car casting is in the 5 pack too, for each of the first 4 waves (but in different colors and higher numbers)

seeing that there are wave 2 fivepacks already out we have a slight narrowing down of the options as to what the wave 2 chase car is.

If you look on the back of the plastic blister and look at the upc code it states that its a CHASE CAR 64 GTO. I have sold 2 of these cars on ebay and I found mine at walmart late Nov,early Dec

i try to get all the chase cars i can , but this one here isnt cutting it for . Nothing stands out about the paint on this one ............ to me .

I agree, ..the packaging on these "next gen" MM's is terrible... looks bad to display, a view down on the top of the car? yuk...
...and this as a chase car? ... maybe don't do one to be different than the other companies, or make it good if ya do... make something different about the car... some color, or make it gold or chrome or sumthin... just gather up info from collectors and what they think about all the other diecsat companys that do chase cars
..at least the new package encourages people to open up the cars...but the chase car, once it's out...blah... I guess it's good for cardboard/package collectors... to bad the package displays lousy

I displayed the new 17 cars, with the 600 others all in blisters on My walls ... Don't think they look bad. Yes they are different, but I don't think thats a bad thing. :cool:
