Hello All,
I am writing to invite anyone who might be interested in racing off road electric to a race we are planning on running on the 19th of January, 2008.
Newberrys use to run dirt oval and have recently converted back to all off road. They are having trouble getting people to come back to the electric off road. What me and a few others have done is plan for a 1 race deal on the 19th to try and get the ball rolling.
It will be a run what you bring. We will work with anything electric. Buggies, stadium trucks, 4WD, Sliders, Etc...
I think we have enough now committed to run a race on the 19th, but am hoping maybe a few more of you out there might be interested in giving Newberrys a try. As of now the racing is planned to start at 5PM. I will update if anything might change. Racing fees are somewhere around 10 to 12 dollars. They have pit stalls and electricity, and they provide transponders if you do not have your own.
Newberrys is an indoor heated track in orion illinois. They have a web site www.newberryshobby.com. They have directions and a forum on the site. It is a GREAT place to run, so if anyone is interested please let me know.
For now this is a 1 race and done deal so if anyone is interested this would be the best oppurtunity to give Newberrys off road electric a try.
Thanks all, and hope to see some of you out there.
Please feel free to ask any questions, and I will answer as best as I can.
Fabian
