View Full Version : Two more Dioramas!!!!
Mark Hosaflook 01-15-2008, 09:55 AM Two more killer MotorMax dioramas are on their way to us. "The Tire Store" and "Weekend Mechanic". I have sneak peak pictures so if anyone doesn't mind helping me load them up simply e-mail me at M-hosaflook@skylinecorp.com and we'll get these posted for us all to enjoy!
Looking at what others are coming out with, it looks like a great year for diormams and in my opinion, MotorMax has everybody beat with quality and price.

Andrew73 01-15-2008, 10:36 AM I have to get these 2 too. Now I have to get a biger shelf also.
rlyoung1 01-15-2008, 12:28 PM I like those although I won't be buying them due to space limitations.
budsvtec 01-15-2008, 12:28 PM OOOH A MAverick
60sMetal 01-15-2008, 12:30 PM Wow - those are pretty sharp looking. Just as well that I can't find 'em yet - still broke from Christmas :(
stupidsquirrels 01-15-2008, 12:46 PM Ssssssssssswwwwwwwwwwwwweeeeeeettttttttt!!!!!!!!!! !!!

I know you had hopes of seperate parts for easier customization but you must admit, the framework is very VERY sound. In comparison to the Christmas ornament offerings from others in scales that are all over the place this is exciting.
STUTZ 01-15-2008, 01:57 PM I like both of them!
i want 1 of each. these are nice. great job mm
Lpgeoteacher 01-15-2008, 03:16 PM I'm Digging these! Mr. Chan & Company GREAT JOB!
BLUUBUDDAH 01-15-2008, 07:39 PM I like them Mark  Weekend mechanics looks good, as does the first one posted. I would like to see a Gremlin or a Mustang in there. I would even consider a logo myself. I would like info/cost on a logo when available.

stangcollector 01-15-2008, 08:23 PM these are 1/64 scale right?
jimhowie2000 01-15-2008, 10:39 PM wish they would have chosen different colors for the Mustang and Maverick. Both of those have already been done.
6-b-kwik 01-15-2008, 11:03 PM were can i get these
dipstick 01-16-2008, 02:30 PM We will be stocking them when released - currently they are only available in CAN. US released is scheduled for late this month.
Mark Hosaflook 01-16-2008, 04:56 PM Rather than clog the thread up with 4 or 5 replies from each person, I'll try and cover it all in one hit.;)
Logo cost will probably be the same as last year, 50.00 but you must have rights to the logo OR use your name in a slogan type format. We'll get more into that when more details are ironed out.
Scale is 1:64th!
The color for the casting on the first two dioramas was exclusive so maybe this was a test shot photo? Not sure. With Wal=Mart marking down castings to 1.00 right now a replacement is the easy part.:)
These are selling for around 8.00 CN at Wally's right now and I thought the Dollar, while losing some ground, was still stronger than the CN one so look for it in that price range. All the big box stores who carry MM will carry these as well. Wal-Mart Meijers etc.
Just an FYI and it may be my site only but no link to Mini-Motors has worked for me in days. Perhaps I'm being blocked?:freak:
Lpgeoteacher 01-16-2008, 05:52 PM Your site Mark??

Yeah, these are fine looking pieces, great work!
Besides I can always perform surgery n them if the urge strikes me BWAHAHAHA!!!

The skeleton for our shopping cart was being installed and I had to take my homepage down for two days.
I am waiting delivery timing for the Dioramas.

NWovalfan 01-18-2008, 09:02 PM Those dioramas are awesome! You have to admit, there is a lot of detail in there for not a lot of money. Those will really look sweet on the shelf!
hwcanada 01-24-2008, 11:33 PM sweet!! Thanks for the pics!!
I will need to get those 2 to go with the others.. Haven't seen them at my WM yet, but I will keep looking...
