These are being cleared out. Found quite an assortment yesterday at several Wal Marts. Happy collecting.

Even at a dollar they don't seem to be moving very fast.
Some of the stores have the 1/87 cars at a dollar, but not all of them. :confused:

Posted in another thread, Walmart stores are left to independently discount items based on what sells in a given area: I've seen the same item clearanced as much as 60% in one store and one 20 minutes away still has it at full price weeks later.

A couple of things I've noticed about Wal-Mart.
1. Something sits on the shelf forever before becoming clearance.
2. Somethings get moved to the clearance aisle that are in fact...not clearance.
3. When something does get marked down, it's really not much of a markdown.

Except in the case of the Motor Max 1:64 cars that went down to a buck each and disappeared. When they were $2.47 each, they barely left the peg.

I went to my local wall mart and bought some more Amc Gremlins they just got some new Gremlin X's in and the the rare Baby Blue colored Gremlin which have found hard to find were still $2.47. I hear Motor Max has discontinued the Green 1:24 1974 Amc Gremlin. Does anybody no why? My Gremlin collection has been a fun hobby for me I hope Motormax is not going to discontinue it.
