Do you want to know about the set itself, or the cars?

I can tell you the cars are called Aerohoppers and, according to Howard Johansen's book, there were two versions of the #3 (light red and dark red), and one version of the #2. The part numbers should be 22080 (#2) and 22090 (#3). I have found two of the three in blister packs.

What happened to their p/u shoes ? You can use the TYCO HP-& parts kit if need be.Just a bit of filing & the HP-7 p/u shoes fit like a glove !

 Glad to be of help to my comrades in HO camaraderie ! Always good to see that positive Mojo spreading !
Ever since Marchon bit the dust & the succeeding "Empire" struck out, finding parts has been a challenge. Tyco gears, axles, wheels & motors can be interchanged. Also the TOMY turbo motor can be also used in the yellow/orange /black chassis . Also though the later chasiss's tend to crack when you wreck out, I find repairs easy with superGlue Gel & plastruct.
:( Sadly the orange/yellow & grey Empire chassis used a longer p/u shoe that is unique so you need either the original Factory part (Some parts kits may be found at shows or ebay, etc) or you need to cannibalise another chassis.
 Keep those "Fallen Flags" flying !
