I just picked up on seaQuest DSV Season Two, and I noticed they made it an 8-disc set for the same price as the Season One 4-disc set. Now, they could easily have made this set 4 discs too, but chose single-sided discs. (Sort of the same with Galactica 1980, all 10 episodes could have made it on one dual-side disc.) Does this mean the dual-side DVD is "on the outs" as it were?

Your Season One was 4 discs? Weird - the Zones 2, 4 & 5 set is a 6 disc box. 4 episodes each disc, except the 1st one which had the pilot movie. No extras to speak of, except deleted scenes...

Was the US box set released on double-sided discs, or did you mean dual-layer?
