The basic range consists of 75 (now 100 for 2008) along with 25 recolors. However, they are boxed up into assortments of 48 models per carton for shipping purposes. This assortment of 48 is changed on a monthly basis to include a new batch of models, plus retaining various models from recent batches. The contents of each carton is of roughly 30 models, with a few of them duplicated (or even triplicated) to fill up the box. These normally tend to be the more popular models that are duplicated.

This assortment box appears to be what they are selling. If you order a box you will only receive around 30 or so models, and a number of duplicates.

:) :D :p
