Got this today at Target for $1.03. Don't know if it is "valuable" or not, but I thought it was definitely a cool concept car and a model I probably wouldn't ever see around again for a long time. And for a buck, it makes me feel good looking at the image of what George Barris used as the basis for his rendition of the Batmobile.

Is this model a reissue?

Yes, there have been six releases of it. My favorite version outside of the 10th anniversary one.

Sorry for the crappy scan but I have not taken this set out of the box
and shot it with the Fuji since I got it...I will have to do that one of these
days...olesarge90/Gill

You can't see it but all of models in this set have
10th ANNIVERSARY on the wheels...

In real life, the Futura started out as white. It was painted red for the film "It Started with a Kiss" starring Debbie Reynolds and Glen Ford. Then George Barris owned it and converted it into the Batmobile on short notice.
