We have also launched a completely new Web site. On the new site I will be able to do a lot of nice things that as soon as I set them up and/or learn how to use some of them will be nice for everyone. If you visit the new site and you have problems first clear your browser and maybe even WT from your favorite folder and retype the we address...www.windtunnelracingproducts.com
Then try to log in and make sure everything is working properly with your account if you would like. Im working on a couple of bugs right now but should have them fixed by tomorrow sometime. The famous Pay Pal server glitch should be fixed as well. So with that said for now. Stay tuned very very closely for new products from Windtunnel, New site options, And some specials coming up. A ton of new products are coming in 2008.
Thank you everyone for your support

cwinters 01-10-2008, 10:00 PM Rob,
Looks good except main page doesn't render completely correctly under OSX using Firefox. It mostly looks ok, but the menu bar (i.e. Home Page | New Products | Specials ... ) is drawing on 2 lines instead of 1.

MURDOCKRC 01-10-2008, 11:19 PM Just tried my safari and all was good. Ill keep looking into it though. Just make sure the browers have been cleared. It could be that it is confused between the old site and new.
Rob
cwinters 01-11-2008, 12:24 AM Tried emptying the cache and it still had the same problem.
Chuck
ohiorcracer 01-11-2008, 12:26 PM I cleared mine and it worked fine on internet explorer.
MURDOCKRC 01-11-2008, 11:29 PM Added some extra pictures to some items to get a better look at the options. Imax chargers in the WT battery section have extra pictures. HSI 1/10th Body also added some killer extra on that one as well.

ovalguy1 01-15-2008, 11:21 AM Rob has some of the best oval products on the market. As far as I'm conserd he has the best tires on the market. I have been running them for 4 years now and they are awsome. Finished 5th i expert 19 at the birds with them. I have been running his springs for a little over a year now and they work flawless. I have just recently started running his bodies and let me say WOW! I like the way they mount up and the proform awsome on the track. Ran The HSI for the first time at Detroit BRL race and my car was dialed. If you have not tried these products than you are missing out.

burbs 02-07-2008, 05:10 AM Below are some pica of My HDX body.. I have always been a protoform guy, but I have been having issues this year with stability in 13.5 wingless.. I have no problems making the cars fast, i just dont feel comfortable with the feel.. My buddy bought a CW car off of a guy last week, and it came with a new Unpainted HDX body.. He didnt want it so i bought it from him.. I had heardthe HDX has the feel of more downforce then the protoform HD's.. I am hoping to gain some stability, but still keep the car free.. I figured since it was my first windtunnel body i would put a half way decent paint on it instead of asingle bomb job... Its mounted on a silva car, and the rest of the vynil is being cut. Color's are Chezoom Teal, and Chrome with white as a break up color...anyhoo
What are people experiences with the HDX without a wing in 13.5.. Thanks

BallisticBill 02-07-2008, 11:04 AM Burbs,
Here is some info for you to look at. I run the HDX in 13.5 Brl rules. Now I was a Proto( Monte) guy also before my son bought a large portion of Bolink. Wow what a difference in handling between Proto and Windtunnel bodies. Before Rob developed the HDX I ran the Windtunnel HDD.
I ran the HDX in the fall 2006 point series 13.5 class in Omaha. I was undefeated in ( I believe) 14 of 14 races. My HDX also has the 100 lap track record in Omaha in 13.5 BRL. And I put my HDX in the A-Main at the 2007 BRL race in Omaha in the 13.5 BRL class.
Now most of my experience is in Omaha. But this body has won many point series races and big races around the country.
Now your question was 13.5 Brl rules racing but this body also has two point series wins in Omaha in 4300/10.5 racing and Rob was on the front row along side Frank Ulbrech at the Brl race in Omaha in '07 with the HDX.
The HDX was also the winning body in the 2006 ROAR paved Oval Nats in 4-cell Mod and I believe one other class.
But in wingless racing the body is very very smooth. I found no turbulent shaking with it at all. It is a very smooth well balanced body.
For those coming to Omaha in April for the Brl finals I would suggest having an HDX with them. It has been proven in Omaha not only with 13.5 wingless racing but also in 10.5. And if you need a little more turning look into the Windtunnel HSI.
Anyway that is my experience with it. And nice paint job. I like that.

TeamGoodwrench 02-10-2008, 01:47 PM Burbs -- I saw you were running the HDX body yesterday. How did it feel ?
BIGCHUCK 02-11-2008, 03:09 PM Rob,
I should have done this earlier but things were pretty hectic getting ready for our Midwest Oval Grand Nationals Event this past weekend and it takes a while for me to recover my senses after each event.
So better late than never, I wanted to say thanks from the crew at Fastlane and from all the racers who attended our event for your support and the door prizes you offered. Because of your generosity, several folks went home with some great Windtunnel products.
You can check out the results in the Oval Events thread.
Thanks again for your support.
Big Chuck, Shane and "Little" Chuck
MURDOCKRC 02-12-2008, 11:28 PM Glad to send goodies Chuck. #1 goal with Windtunnel is to support racing on every level & do as much as we can:)

Mr.Wolfman 02-12-2008, 11:35 PM Had a great time at the Fastlane race, qualified and finished 2nd with the Barrel front springs. They have great turn-in with out the roll over feel.
Great work from WT again...... can't wait to check out the next BIG product.

ovalguy1 02-14-2008, 08:52 AM I built a new car last week and ran it Sat a rosewood. I ran The new barrel side springs on the sides and barrel front springs in the front. The car had a diferent feel to it. One thing I did notice was my car went over the bump on the back staight away better than any one else's.I'm going to do some more testing with 10.5 this week at Rosewood. Once I get the bugs out of the new car I think it will be fast.

Rob Just want to say thanks for all the products(HSI, Barrel, side and center springs) helped me put it in the A at the birds.

MURDOCKRC 02-22-2008, 12:47 AM Way to go guys. Glad to see you giving the rest of the boys a run for their money.
I should have the latest Windtunnel product ready to ship next week. If you want drive, rotation and added power especially from Apex off you will fall in love with the latest product from Windtunnel:thumbsup:
MURDOCKRC 02-22-2008, 06:14 PM Staying with the design that has taken rc springs to a whole new level and because of the outstanding success of the barrell front springs, "V" Hive vcs spring Im happy to give you the "PRO" CS springs
What will the "PRO" CS do for you? Being progressive by design it allows hard transition, smooth rebound, excellent rotation and killer power off the apex. Add these with barrells, & V hives for a killer combination in new wave handling.
Below is a picture of a few of them. More are available & Im looking at next week sometime to have them on the site available for sale.
These will work on Center shocks, touring, late model, sprints, you name it.
hyperdriver 02-22-2008, 07:03 PM Will they work on 1/8th scale off-road? Glad I called you this week.
slots 02-22-2008, 08:55 PM Hi Rob -
Thought I'd pass on an idea that was brought up at the track last week. Experienced racers know what they want on a car before they build a new chassis but newer guys don't. How about putting together a combo including all the parts and hardware necessary to complete a Leading Edge or similar chassis conversion and then discount the entire package a little so the total cost is still competitive with a complete chassis kit?
Jim Good
Fireball929 02-23-2008, 12:04 AM What's the spring rates?
Thanks,
Fireball
MURDOCKRC 02-23-2008, 12:16 AM 4#, 6#, 8#, 10#, 12#, 14#, 16#:woohoo:
That is what they will be listed at and colors will start at blue and work their way up the scale in the same fashion as all other springs:thumbsup:
Rob
Rusty22 02-24-2008, 05:08 PM Rob, do you carry the silver IRS Top Gun side shocks? i see the other 4 colors but no silver. and is payment only with credit card or paypal?
Fireball929 02-24-2008, 06:05 PM How does all the new springs work. Are they considered progressive or a standard feeling. I have had alot of guys at the track ask and I want to give them the right answer?
