OK guys, here's the scoop. Rose City Motorplex is in its 12th season as a slotcar club and we've gone from running Lifelikes in our first 2 years to lexan- bodied super g's. We run the 50 foot trioval in under 2 seconds and the 70 foot roadcourse in 3.5 seconds and to be honest, us older racers are finding these speeds less and less enjoyable, and harder and harder to do. What I'm proposing is a secondary, maybe Wednesday night series to bring in a slower, possibly more technical class, Something easier to keep your eyes on without falling down. Now, seeing as I'm going to spring for these cars myself, $60 G-jets are out of the question although they would be my first choice. What do you thing about stock- bodied Ultra-G's as a starting point? We need feedback on these cars- pro and con. How do they handle, where do we get them (the cheaper the better), what body styles are available? Any other trains of thought an a secondary series are welcome as well. Thanks for any and all responses. Rick @ Rose City Motorplex
