View Full Version : Sarah Michelle Geller surfs... John P 01-09-2008, 10:33 PM ...poorly. http://www.whedon.info/Sarah-Michelle-Gellar-Freddie,25410.html  CaptFrank 01-09-2008, 11:37 PM http://photos.hobbytalk.com/data/519/medium/Geller.JPG Steve244 01-09-2008, 11:59 PM better than me... so what's the movie model tie-in here? (wanders off to see if there are any buffy models). F91 01-10-2008, 01:46 AM The board she's using is a boat!! At least she's getting up, don't see Freddy riding. Zombie_61 01-10-2008, 05:09 AM The board she's using is a boat!!Well, she's only 5'2" tall...a boogie board would look big under her. :p John P 01-10-2008, 08:34 AM better than me... Oh yeah? Did you look at all the pictures? http://www.whedon.info/IMG/jpg/sarah-michelle-gellar-freddie-prinze-junior-surf-hawai-new-year-2008-paparazzi-hq-02-0750.jpg http://www.whedon.info/IMG/jpg/sarah-michelle-gellar-freddie-prinze-junior-surf-hawai-new-year-2008-paparazzi-hq-03-0750.jpg http://www.whedon.info/IMG/jpg/sarah-michelle-gellar-freddie-prinze-junior-surf-hawai-new-year-2008-paparazzi-hq-04-0750.jpg http://www.whedon.info/IMG/jpg/sarah-michelle-gellar-freddie-prinze-junior-surf-hawai-new-year-2008-paparazzi-hq-05-0750.jpg http://www.whedon.info/IMG/jpg/sarah-michelle-gellar-freddie-prinze-junior-surf-hawai-new-year-2008-paparazzi-hq-06-0750.jpg so what's the movie model tie-in here? (wanders off to see if there are any buffy models). Since when does there have to be a model tie-in on the movie forum? F91 01-10-2008, 10:08 AM True enough, but the land - similar comparison would be like skateboarding with a piece of plywood. Well, she's only 5'2" tall...a boogie board would look big under her. :p Griffworks 01-10-2008, 10:33 AM Sarah Michelle Geller surfs... Yeah, but Charlie doesn't surf! :) TAY666 01-10-2008, 10:34 AM better than me... so what's the movie model tie-in here? (wanders off to see if there are any buffy models). Quite a few actually. I've got a small 1:12 (ish) scale figure kit http://www.tylisaari.com/models/hush/buffy/buffy.htm (http://www.tylisaari.com/models/gallery/buffy/buffy1-7/buffy1-7.htm) Mysteria has a nice one http://www.mysteria.co.uk/kitex/vampslayer.jpg There is another largish bust that I know of, but don't know the producer. If you want to get into the whole Buffy univers. Then there is the Hush Gentleman from Mysteria also http://www.tylisaari.com/models/hush/hush.htm (http://www.tylisaari.com/models/gallery/buffy/hush1.htm) A Spike bust from an unknown producer. http://www.tylisaari.com/models/britny/spike/spike.htm NT Productions has the Judge bust http://nt-productions.com/product_info.php?cPath=24&products_id=43 and The Master bust http://nt-productions.com/product_info.php?cPath=24&products_id=44 Someone put out a Lorne full figure kit a few years ago. I have also seen an Angel bust with him normal on one side, and in vamp form on the opposite side. Will post more if I think of them :D Steve244 01-10-2008, 11:26 AM Oh yeah? Did you look at all the pictures? http://www.whedon.info/IMG/jpg/sarah-michelle-gellar-freddie-prinze-junior-surf-hawai-new-year-2008-paparazzi-hq-02-0750.jpg http://www.whedon.info/IMG/jpg/sarah-michelle-gellar-freddie-prinze-junior-surf-hawai-new-year-2008-paparazzi-hq-03-0750.jpg http://www.whedon.info/IMG/jpg/sarah-michelle-gellar-freddie-prinze-junior-surf-hawai-new-year-2008-paparazzi-hq-04-0750.jpg http://www.whedon.info/IMG/jpg/sarah-michelle-gellar-freddie-prinze-junior-surf-hawai-new-year-2008-paparazzi-hq-05-0750.jpg http://www.whedon.info/IMG/jpg/sarah-michelle-gellar-freddie-prinze-junior-surf-hawai-new-year-2008-paparazzi-hq-06-0750.jpg um yeah. :o Since when does there have to be a model tie-in on the movie forum? just kidding. but I wanted an excuse to look for buffy models. phrankenstign 01-10-2008, 01:24 PM http://photos.hobbytalk.com/data/519/medium/Geller.JPG I never thought she was especially beautiful, but I like the fact that she's WET. Steve244 01-10-2008, 01:27 PM she does have that wet dog appeal. Nova Designs 01-10-2008, 01:30 PM Wet dogs have appeal? John P 01-10-2008, 01:58 PM My dog smells like cookies when she's wet. It's the shampoo they use at the groomer. As for models, there's also one called "The Cheerleader," which is clearly a likeness of Sarah, and can be built with or without pom-poms, and with or without sweater. X15-A2 01-10-2008, 02:20 PM She looks a heck of a lot better doing than I would, no matter how badly she does it! beatlepaul 01-10-2008, 04:36 PM She surfs better than she can act. Roland 01-10-2008, 08:22 PM I once brought up the idea of a Buffy the Vampire Slayer (Sarah) Model on the Polar Lights Bulletin Board. My girlfriends 8 year daughter was a big fan. I was trying to suggest a model subject that kids might like at the time. There was alot of interest in it from the other adult PLBB members as well. You have to admit, the Woman is a asubject matter for a figure model. Mabey Monarch or Moebius would be willing? phrankenstign 01-11-2008, 05:07 AM I know Buffy has a fairly big following. However, she isn't scary nor menacing. Therefore, I don't think there would be enough interest to make a money-making plastic model of her. Roland 01-11-2008, 08:08 AM She isn't a monster, but, she is sexy and beautiful which still qualifies her as a good figure model subject. John P 01-11-2008, 08:35 AM I know Buffy has a fairly big following. However, she isn't scary nor menacing. Therefore, I don't think there would be enough interest to make a money-making plastic model of her. Never seen the Atlier-It line of non-scarey girl models? Ya think the only market for figure models is for scarey and menacing things? Steve244 01-11-2008, 09:49 AM well, yeah. I'd love a kit of my ex. John P 01-11-2008, 01:34 PM To blow up with firecrackers? El Gato 01-12-2008, 01:16 AM SMG is not as delectable as she once was now that she's following the "thin as a stick is beautiful" diet other starlets seem to favor, but hey, she's wearing wet clothes. Who would have a problem with that? TAY666 01-12-2008, 07:01 AM I agree. I thought she was much more attractive in the early years of BTVS when she still has some meat on her bones. She looks a little healthier now than she did in the last couple seasons of the series though. Roland 01-12-2008, 11:48 AM Mabey she'll fill in again as she ages and has babies. Prince of Styrene II 01-17-2008, 06:49 PM SMG... ...is actually now SMP. She officially took Freddy's last name a few months ago. phrankenstign 01-18-2008, 07:47 PM 1. Never seen the Atlier-It line of non-scarey girl models? 2. Ya think the only market for figure models is for scarey and menacing things? 1. No. Is that a line of styrene models? 2. Yes. I believe the styrene market can only be profitable producing scary, menacing, cartoony, and/or humorous subjects. John P 01-18-2008, 09:57 PM 1. No. Is that a line of styrene models? 2. Yes. I believe the styrene market can only be profitable producing scary, menacing, cartoony, and/or humorous subjects. Nope. Very hi-quality resin kids of nude Japanese girls in various very realistic art school poses. I won't link directly to spare Hank a siezure, but go to http://www.xofacto.com/ scroll to the bottom and select "babe kits" and check out the Atlier It line. Veeery popular. :D Roland 01-20-2008, 12:36 PM Have you forgotten about the Aurora Victim / Dr. Dreadly Daughter kit that are poular in polystyrene? I'll post it to the modelling forum to see what kind of response I get. El Gato 01-20-2008, 08:01 PM ...is actually now SMP. She officially took Freddy's last name a few months ago. Yes, personally she goes by Prinze but professionally she still goes by Geller. vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2012, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
