View Full Version : Went to the Twin Cities (MN) Today.........

Had to go to the cities today to fix my daughters car (it's 100 miles each way!) Just what I wanted to be doing.

Well, long story short. The only thing causing her no-start was corroded battery terminals. Some water, baking soda, a wire brush, some terminal protector and a half-hour of my time and the car is as good as new! Time left over for shopping!! Here's what I left town with :)

Nice road trip. A sweet day for sure. Glad it was nothing serious with the daughters car.

I do, once a week! LOL!! Although my travels are MUCH more productive than here at home, NOTHING so far has compared to yesterday!!

Even though I always refer to "The Cities", I only chase St. Paul when I am in town and always along 494/694 and out laterally.

The TH's came out of a Wally's and a K-Mart and the GM's from three different Targets. The Target deal is a big aberration, as many are currently doing their post-X-Mas toy re-sets right now!

Sweet finds, especially the GMs. What part of MN are you from? I live in Rochester, but go to college in Duluth. I am home now over semester break.

I live in West Central Wisconsin (near Eau Claire). My daughter lives in Eagan!
