Just wanted to know if anyone has ever had a t-plate that was too soft suck the speed away from a car. Been running pretty consistently 66 4:00 flat and now the car seems to be alot slower throughout the run. Went 66 4:03, very slow 66. All's I did was put a softer t-plate in. Car seems to be getting through the corner ok just seems to be the same speed all the way around, no acceleration, and I know that my battery and motor are ok. Someone once told me that if the center was too soft the car would never get up out of the carpet and accelerate. Just looking for some opinions.

What t-plates are you using? Both before and now.
You can add some pre-load to the center shock to add some back. BUT, if it was faster before... CHANGE IT BACK.

I would think the softer T-Plate would do alot more than that, you only lost .03s over the course of a 4 minute run, WOW.................
I would tend to think that the more the track gets run the more it gets grip so the more you run, its sticking to the track alot more, sure...........

Hey Jeff. I like the stock .063 hyperdrive t-plate everywhere. It worked good at the toybox too, but if your running a solid chassis uncut it might be a different story? The stiffer t-plate might effect that car more I would think.

I've seen a warm up of 10 degrees slow a car that much! Has the track owner been running the Heat!
But, if it is the T-plate, you have made a mistake thinking a Huge change like a t-plate will be faster without other changes! The balance of the chassis is now off! Work on the rest of the chassis to bring the balance back and the car will get faster! Well If the T-plate was the correct change to start with!

The softer t plate will plant the rear of the car more.. The stiffer plate will free it up..
