The dioramas are nice but I don't like the unfinished exterior walls on the sides. The cars definitely need to be replaced.
I like the store a little better than the shop.

They are currently only in CAN - they are to be released in the US later this month and we will have them on our site. I will post when they arrive.

My favorite is "My Garage".

Any idea what the price will be?

Thanks in advance.

No pricing as of yet. The pricing on the boxes is CAN.

OZ - do the individual piece come off or are they able to be removed?? Or are they molded in? Sadly, I have not seen these in person yet.

See other thread titled "Get ready Motormax Dioramas" There is a more detailed description. These pictures were posted for me (Thanks Kevin). Might be better to combine the two threads. Many items are molded in and even the stand alone pieces like the real rubber tires are secured in place. Safety issues I'm sure.

Mark,Oz...thanks for the pics guys!

These look kinda neat,I really hope these work out for MM. This looks like it could be the beginning of a refreshing angle of purchasing diecast.

The idea of being able to connect these dios to make a larger scene sounds good

Quite honestly I was hoping for less molded in parts and more seperate parts.I do feel the more parts that could be removed by customizers to be used to create their own scenes would make these more valuable to the hobby in general...more would sell.

From looking at the pictures...I'm thinking I'd be willing to spend about $6.99 on these. If they are priced about $10,I'll have to study them in person and decide if I'll buy. If their more than $10,doubt if I'll buy.

All this might change once I see them in person,it's really tough going on pictures.

In the "my garage" dio...are those car/girlie pics hanging on the wall? the one above the window sure looks like a woman in the pic. if not...I guess I should get my mind out of the gutter

9.99 is the suggested retail price for the states.

Walmart Canada went aggressive in the launch at 8.00 CN.

OMG, why have I not seen these in the stores? I'm in Canada and visit the Wal Mart weekly.

If that is a Dodge Omni/Plymouth Horizon in the "My Garage" diorama, I think that I'm going to loose my mind! :freak:

I don't see a lot moving at that price, especially with those cars. The prices on the packages from Canada are more reasonable.

why not, $3 for the little car, $7 for the nice background. I'll be paying it.

These are pretty nice, but a little bland, which would be fairly easy to fix if the pieces were not permanently attached. It look very much like the dio parts are molded or at least permanently attached.

I cannot wait to see these IRL!
