J-Dub Racing 01-07-2008, 03:00 PM Guys if you have never made the trip up to Central Maine it is a blast. Casey runs a great show, and you have never met a better group to race with. I grew up running with a lot of these guys. Good luck to everyone, wish I could make it!!!
Thanks
Joel White
cbegin 01-07-2008, 07:58 PM That's Great News Andrew! Can't wait to race with you guys again! My daughter's asked if Gerrold was gonna make it up with you?
Joel, Thanks Alot! I appreciate that. The racing get's better every year and the guys at RC Speedway are like family. Hope to see everyone soon!!!
If anyone has any questions or suggestions regarding the race, I'd be glad to listen to them.
Casey
Turn4RC 01-08-2008, 09:48 PM I got this race in my book. I'm gonna be on the look out for a stand in race director for our track for the day, And grab a few of our regulars and hope to make the trip to maine. I'll keep you posted.
cbegin 01-10-2008, 03:05 PM AWESOME!!! That would be great.. This Fall, I will gladly return to favor and come back to Conn. I loved racing on that track. We brought a good crew the last time and everyone had a good time. I'm sure I can herd up a good bunch of people to come with me again. I'm anxious to see the changes over there!
Tranny Car Man. 01-10-2008, 04:48 PM Casey,us banked track racers gotta stick togeather, right???.
cbegin 01-10-2008, 08:18 PM Darn right we do!
What kind of rollout is being used for 17.5? I'm brand new to brushless but thinking of trying in Feb. Also, what's the rollout spread from stock to 17.5. Thanks.
Yahoo#1 01-21-2008, 10:40 AM Try around a 3.40 Jason Lamb and Eben might give some good advice also. Looking forward to seeing you guys. Anyone else coming with you to race?

cbegin 01-21-2008, 08:52 PM Sounds Great! This should be a hell of a race with all the old faces we like to see and many new people for everyone to meet.
Yahoo#1 01-22-2008, 02:22 PM Casey, you calling Dennis OLD? Glad to hear Dennis & Jim will be up I think they will like the track & racing. With our Canadian friends coming and Dennis with the Canadian National Anthem it should be quite a show!!!
We're looking forward to hearing Dennis' "version" of O'Canada!
Tranny Car Man. 01-22-2008, 04:53 PM Casey, dont forget, even some of the FLATLANDERS are comminn from southern newengland lol.
dancingd 01-22-2008, 10:32 PM We're looking forward to hearing Dennis' "version" of O'Canada!
Just loosening up O'CANADA,O'CANADA.....Can you hear me now?????
cbegin 01-27-2008, 04:21 PM The big question is, does Dennis even know the words to Oh' Canada???? I better print them out for him, just in case. :p
I hope we get some of the "flatlanders" for this race too. :D I plan on making the trip up to Turn4RC later this year with a few of our racers.
Cabin Fever has always been one of my favorite races when Dave was running the speedway. I'm hoping to make this race, just as memorable and fun as in past years. The track is Super Fast and racing is always competative. I hope to see everyone there. :woohoo:

rickster58 01-29-2008, 11:55 AM Bill,
How many sk's would we need if we wanted to come and run 13.5? While there are some stock sk's in our area, there a lot of 13.5's. It would be nice to come out to run them.
Rick<><
RCRacer00 01-29-2008, 12:23 PM rick, Im not sure that they run 13.5 there at all. Have you seen there track? imop- 27t or 17.5 would be plenty fast enough at there track.
Sometimes Fast 01-29-2008, 02:36 PM If I remenber right you alittle bit older then me EBEN...
Think I'll change my name to "Older than dirt"

Rick,
If you have more then four 13.5's you can run them in a class. The only issue is Trophies. I only ordered them for the classes I stated earlier. If I know for sure you will be coming, I can figure out somthing for prizes for a 13.5 class. Just let me know. We would love to have you! I'm sure it will be a good time for everyone.
Casey
Sometimes Fast 01-30-2008, 07:21 AM We have run 13.5 pancar and 19 turn pancar. we have run 27 t SK. 13.5 SK would run well. The record for 27t SK is 52 laps in 4 minutes. Hope this helps.
How big is the SK class at the track? I would like to have a starter class here at home but not sure would be the best. Is there a spec SK car meaning spec chassis, tires, motor, etc. Those SK's look awesome flying around the high banks of Benton.
Andrew Phillips
cbegin 01-31-2008, 12:45 PM We have about 6 or 7 SK's at our track. I think a SPEC SK class would be a great starter class! Since those cars are so light, they should still get some good speed around the track and most importantly, keep it affordable to run.
cbegin 01-31-2008, 12:54 PM Thanks to a little help from Mike & Kim, It looks like we will have trophies for a 13.5 Brushless (SK) Class. We would Love to Have you Come up and Race!!!! :woohoo:
SteveHanson 01-31-2008, 12:57 PM Casey whats the rule of 17.5 brushless..... wing or no wing??? I'm gonna try to make it up there for this race, just trying to get the rules correct.

Hey Steve,
No wing on the 17.5 Brushless unless your running the COT body.
The stock class will be the Blue (Cobalt) handout motors. The car weight is 39 Oz. without a transponder or 40 Oz. With a transponder.
I hope you can make it up here!
Casey
cbegin 01-31-2008, 08:03 PM I'm open to any class of cars. As long as it's not Nitro powered, and we have 4 or more racers, I'll run em!
