Spent a lot of time on a small part and one little "oops" and there it went!
The house ate it. Just for fun... how many grown men have crawled around the floor with a flashlight? I even seen what direction it went.
Start over on that one!
This is fun... right?
It happens...

I admit I have been there & done that...I spent hours on ORANGE shag looking for a front bumper/grille assembly for a '57 Chevrolet that flew while I was cutting it free from a chassis...

It turned up the other day,,It had gotten snagged in the trash bag lining the garbage can..Less that 4" from my searching hands.

Best ever though was the magic Camaro..I was customizing along on it, there's a knock at the door, I go answer, it's a salesman..No thanks...Back to the table..What the!! Where's the Camaro?
I spent most of the day retracing my steps, looking on the table, the floor, in boxes about 8 hours later the wife comes home, and as soon as she sees me she says...What's that in your shirt pocket?

I had a 1:64 '40 Cadillac headlight jump out of my hands, bounce off a table and wall and I could hear it bouncing off things for 2 seconds. I had to move lots of boxes, etc. just to search for it on hands and knees. Funny how when you find the part you're looking for, it's always in the last place you look. :p

Well I'll be... I found it, then stumbled on something that looks even better. No altering required. Go figure.
