i bought a novak ss+ off of david washburn open the package after i got home from work and notice the harness to connect the esc to the reiciever was missing and the port were you plug the brushless sensor wires was messed up. i imedaitly pm mr washburn letting him no the esc was damaged and the harness was missing there were no broken plastic pieces in the package so i no it didnt occur in shipping. i ask him for a return adress and a refund. he got back to me and told me the esc was in perfect shape and either got damage in shipping or i broke it and was trying to scam him.i sent him a pict and even gave him my phone # to call me. no return call or pm after he read my last one so i am left with only one option to file a claim with paypal.it shouldnt have come to this i tried to work this out but i guess i am on my last resort!

now he has closed his paypal account and claims that ups is to blame even though there are no broken pieces in the package! there is no way this esc got broke is shipping and for the missing harness he refuses to say anything about it! i would say his actions sure do say he is guilty of selling a junk esc to me!

ne 1 who wants real story can pm or email me this guy is worthless.

take a look at the picture not to hard to see who got taken here what did you leave me negative feedback because of my quick payment? he claims i damage it and then asked for my money back even though i contacted him imediatly after opening the package not a day later or two or a week later i guess you guys will have to be the judge.

I am getting really sick of this already, hetre is what i am sure happened. You didnt know or researcher what the ss+ was and you thought it was the gtb or some newer brushless esc, and when you got it realized you didnt want it any more and decided to try any way possible to get it and anyone can take a set of pliers or cutters or what have you to the esc and make it look like it does, and then u figured that i was just gonna bend over a take it, so you can forget it. i did not send you a bad esc it was either good when you got it and u did the damage or it was damaged in shipping, and if it was im sry and i hope you get ups to do something but they are not my responsibility. so im gonna delete every e-mail, pm and what ever i have recived from you and forget this so this is the last you will get from me.

Im here to say that Cecil is a top notch racer and a great guy to deal with. He is honest and is always willing to stop and help someone out and only deserves the best in return. I have dealt with him personally at our local track and have bought several items off him. Very honest and trustworthy.

I had a deal with Cecil as well......0 Problems! I work at ups loading trucks and theres a chance it was broke while being shipped but I think the broken peices would be in the box..lol GL with this Cecil!!

I bought a motor an pinions had no problems, fast service would deal with him again if i get the chance to.

I Took This Esc To The Track And A Couple Of People Said It Looked Like The Last Sensor Wire To Be Plugged Into The Port Was Glued In And When It Was Removed The Port Was Damage. From Now On I Will Make Sure I See Detail Pict Of The Stuff I Am Buying. Learned My Lesson The Hard Way!

thanks bolognarc2 i am not worried of what mr washburn has to say about me i dealt with many people on hobbytalk and it alway been a great experiance this is the first person to screw me! i could understand were he would be coming from if i would have had this esc for a couple of days or a week but when i pm him 10minute after opening the package on the same day it was delivered and its broken and missing a harness you would think a guy with good feedback would make it right with me. he had to no it was messed up! oh well guess its my loss! i done everthing i can to reason with him even gave him my phone# guess it wasnt enough!

well still no wiring harness how was i even to know if this esc even works i tore it apart yesterday and took the pastic around the prong off some of the plastic was melted to the case guess i will have to order a wiring harness and hopefully get this thing to work!

david washburn pm me the he would send me the missinig harness that he did not ship to me! its been 3 weeks and no harness i guess i should have expected that from him!
