I'm thinking about getting a nitro monster truck .
I have been looking at the Mega Baja Monster truck. I know that there are a lot of nitro monster trucks out there. I'm just trying to find the one that will give the least trouble.
I have been into R.C. for a few years now but I have never had a nitro
anything before.
I know any truck or car has good points and bad points.
So what I'm asking is that a good truck for me to start running gas with or is there a better one for to begin with.
Besides that I think it looks real cool.

Thanks for any advice you can give.

If i where to prefer a monster truck for anybody new to rc or old. I would say the Revo ya it does cost $500.00 but it will be worth your money really the only problem i had with mine was the center tranny the reverse gears are a little weak. But if you go with the forward only it is the best running truck ever. plus you have traxxas leading support.

You can't really miss with any of the top vehicles on the market today. They are all race proven and have great customer support.
See what your local hobby shop supports the most. Also what friends might have so they can help you if you run into a glitch.
Traxxas has a great reputation for customer support and its vehicles are tried and proven to be great performers.
HPI makes great trucks
Losi has a lot to choose from.
And many many more!!!
That doesn't mean that you won't have problems... you still need to check over any vehicle you get carefully and make sure everything is in great working order before you get running. Check that all the screws are tight, the end point adjustments, the trims.
Do your homework. Get the best you can afford and look for features you really want.
Ask yourself....
How much do you want to spend?
Do you want reverse?
What type of starting mechanism do you want?
What extras do you need to get up and running?
How much room do I have to run this truck? They are BIG and VERY Fast. You need a large area to really enjoy them.
Take your time and figure out what you really want.

Also, Look for used vehicles... Many don't ask like you have and just buy..then find out they don't like it and sell for cheap.
