I put this over in the 2007 forum also. How much of a charge should I put into 4200 and 4600 packs if I don't run them for a month or longer. Is cycling them every so often a good thing or not.

If your not planning on running them for a month or so I suggest putting about 3000 MAH in them...If your not into checking them often then that should do the trick. The day before or that morning discharge the packs to 3.60 equalize then add a few hundred seconds back in the packs..Right before charge, discharge , equalize and charge them. You should be all set...

Im starting to think training wheels in 13.5 might be needed at all times....Guys are spinning out half way through races... Good racers.... One little touch on the ice and its over.... Training wheels got my vote..Justin

JB- Sticks run great last night at Summit. Got my car into the 3.5's which hadn't happen before. Car was definately on T-record pace but got into a little mix up, TQ by over a lap!

Although I didn't win the GFX Nationals I have been running very well with the new 4600's..........Thanks!!!

Oh yeah! Got the new JBR EP4600's, welded em together, TQ'd 2 classes, track record and A-main victory at the K/N blast this weekend, FIRST run on the packs! I had to tighten my diffs these things had so much rip. And they say these things get better after a few cycles? All the cells charge and discharge perfectly even, no vents or explosions in the building all 3 days at this event. I think we finally got the perfect R/C battery, thanks for the stix JBR, that new zapper works killer.

Bob check that track record, I do believe 17.5 pan still belongs to Mr. Ken Boehmn and his JBR batteries.
