I just got my new/old Losi XX up and running,I bought it second hand a week or two ago,rebuilt the tranny for good measure and went through the rest of the car,cleaning and setting it up.
I popped in my Orion 21 turn motor and...Dissapointment!
I have an RC10T2,also and the Losi is just not as fast.No way.
I think the trouble is in the Hydradrive,it's not slipping much at all,but it looks like it's weeping a little fluid and the filler screws won't tighten up real well.
I've always run Associated cars,this Losi XX is new to me and so is it's Hydradrive.
Does anyone know about these Hydradrives?
I'd really like to lose it and just run a conventional slipper,but I'm not sure how to go about this.
I'd love to know where the power loss is on this car.
