should i replace the motor leads an battery leads on my speed control would it give it more power im running a futaba mc230 the wires seem pretty think wondering if i should or not please give some info on this i want more power to my spec motor i seem to be a little slower then most of the cars out thier

getting rid of the tamiya connector will make a big differance. the 2 main or most popular are deans and sermos. i use the sermos, have been for years. thinking of switching to deans thou, since just about every built battery that you can buy now already has deans on it. all lipos come with deans, the new murdock spec packs come with deans.

Years ago, and still today, Sermos is best for lest overall voltage drop. I hated the old Deans or Race Pro connectors.

16 years later, I'm running Deans. Instead of Novak 3% Silver solder I'm runing 4% silver solder at Sears Hardware for 1/2 the price. 97% tin/3% silver for $8 vs. 96% tin/4% silver for $3.59.
