I have a briggs and stratton engine on a snowblower.
I can't figure out how to remove the flywheel.
There is a clutch on the shaft for the rope pull. How is that removed? Once I get that off then I suppose just a wheel puller is used.
Thanks
George

Why do you want to remove the flywheel ?

For clutch removal, use Briggs tool, part number 19244.
For flywheel removal, use Briggs part number(s)
19069
19165
19203
One of those 3 will be the one to use, I just can't go to the shop and check right now for that engine.

If you are removing the flywheel to check/replace points and condenser you can install a Magnetron ignition module without doing so, The part # is in red.

Looks like a simple application. Thanks.
Would the magneto need to be replaced as well?

Nope, This slides right on your existing Magneto/Module/Coil. The kit comes with detailed installation instructions for your application.
One other thing, When you cut and strip the points wire to install it on the magnetron scrape the end of the wire a little. There is a varnish type coating you want to remove to assure a good connection.

Thanks for the advice.
The magnetron has been installed and functions great.
Easy to do. Took 1/2 hour from start to finish.
