I got my set of DoH cars (thanks MCT) over the weekend and also picked up an extra Roscoe copcar from the local shop here. Opened it and tried it out..........car has good speed and the neodot gives it the downforce similar to a Tyco HP7.

Only issues I have on the car were the untrue rims (easily replaced). For the experienced runner/tinkerer, this is a minor annoyance. But to the very impressionable newbie/kid, this could steer folks away from buying more of these. I try to give a hand to folks who have problems with their cars, and they love how much better the cars run after replacing bad rims.

Also, I notice the front axle hole is a little bigger than the R4 Flamethrowers.

Tom, Tony, and any other AW folk who see this.....You may want to check up on the manufacturing plant over there, things are getting a little laxed.

Those are not new issues. I guess they are back like the ghost of Christmas past.

I got my 'dirty daisy' jeep today. I had one lopsided front tire, due to some flash on the inside. Didnt matter though since I had a dirty chassis with the big tires all around waiting for it.

This body is nicely done. The folding windshield is beefed up nicely from the JL diecast it was based on. Its got the piping for a lightbulb so Im hoping this CJ shows up again as a flamethrower. My only issues are that front bumper looks a bit fragile, and they shouldve blacked out the raised floor where the door gap WOULD be if it didnt have to be there for chassis clearance. Minor gripes though and it looks like a molded soft top could be worked out to fit this body as well for a little variation.

My only issue is; Where's Daisy Duke? How can a person run this Jeep around a track with no driver?

Would agree. That's why i keep all these old Aurora AFX chassis around. But the bodies do look great. rr

Thats why I like Tubtrack. You can get 'real' afx 5 spokes cheap and damn near by the dozen.

I like the front axle hole being bigger. Easier to fit another rear axle/rims on the front of that jeep so it doesnt look 2wd.
