That was anyone's race to win. The one who stayed cleanest was the fastest ,nino did that from the 3rd qualifying spot. it sounded like some racers are eager for another chance to get the "w", it should make for some interesting racing next week.

that would be a new track record. Mr. first time out with a slider and win's. good racing Dave. now you get to be the car to chase.

dragracer53545 01-11-2008, 03:26 PM I have been thinking, CCX is going to have to do something on the rules.
4 cell 13.5 stays the same
Stock Slider
Mod Slider
Touring Oval
They are going to have to something with the Slider and Touring.
I bought a Slider to race for a Low-Buck, so I did not tie much up in running oval again. After one week of racing my slider a couple of guys have stepped up to a Brushless setup. I really do not plan on buying on a brushless setup. I have talked to a motor builder about the stock motor and no one at his track have burned up a stock motor.
Touring Oval needs something. It should not be a wreck them race! Needs to have a set rule for motor, body(late model or truck) and tire(rubber or foam).
Dave H.
Hitman-98 01-11-2008, 06:19 PM Not sure what that you could call what I have been doing lately as "racing" Andy
Been having some issues. I am really looking forward to Sunday though.

yuk17bandit 01-14-2008, 10:36 AM They are going to have to something with the Slider and Touring.

what batteries are the masses running? 1400 or 1600, we need to put a "cap" on that so the battery war doesn't start. there was a guy running lipo "I think" and I didn't see an advantage,
2 weeks until the next point system, lets get something in stone by then
thanks ccx for opening the door to oval in Monroe.
Thanks again to all that came out, I'm not sure if us 4 posting is doing anything but guy's are coming out of the wood work with sliders -sedans- pan cars - more sliders.. it's cool to see what started with 8 cars and limited track time has grown into.
yuk17bandit 01-21-2008, 10:21 AM another great week of racing, plus we were home in time to watch our packers blow it. dam you Pac man!!!
I'll have results in a day or two.
New rules
Slider mod.. ANYTHING go's , not just mamba .
Slider stock: same as other tracks: NO lipo - stock tires - stock ESC - stock losi motor or venom.
sedan stock : TBA - we are trying to find a way to run 13.5 with brushed motors , we should have something in stone in 2 weeks
13.5 : we will switch to 4 min races , no passing the yuk orange car.J/K
we are going 4 min..
re-sorts. into our 2nd year and we have just now realized that our old program can resort heats.
the first 2 heats will be sorted from the week before results OR we can draw #'s or something like that, the 1st option would not be fair to the out of towners. throw out some feedback
yuk17bandit 01-28-2008, 09:52 AM last weeks oval results, I didn't get any TQ's
Sportsman Oval :A Main = Toni Tschanz
Oval sedan :
B Main: Nino Tarara
A Main: Ryan Mellenberger
stock slider:A main: Justin Cunningham
Mod slider A main: Dan Reinbold
pan car 13.5: Mark Lineus
yuk17bandit 01-28-2008, 09:55 AM another race in the books. we used the resort for the first time and it all worked out great. we were getting though a round of heats in a little under an hour with some practice time in between.
after some after hours R&D the sedan oval classes rules will be as followed.
sedan 13.5/27 turn rubber tires. NO LIPO
sedan "10.5/19 turn locked endbell - rubber tires - LIPO OK ?.
hopefully this class will become one but for right now this is the new rules from above.
now that motor rules have been set and all our classes have a rule on what to run, I'm going to find a white board and start keeping track records for each class. something to shoot for. only qualifying times will be eligible for track record.

Hitman-98 02-08-2008, 02:12 PM Hartman r u racing sunday?
I wish, youngest has two freaking hockey games.
yuk17bandit 02-15-2008, 12:32 AM no oval racing this sunday, sounds like alot of the local racers will be heading to trackside for there weekly oval fix. racing will resume 2-24
yuk17bandit 03-17-2008, 09:18 AM Well, after a few rocky weeks at the start I think it's safe to say that the oval program in Monroe is a success. It is great to have the opportunity to have a good oval track in my area. I have to thank CCX - Andy M - jen M - team losi " for the slider". Oval had the opportunity to have a big race this year but with all the BRL' and WBRL. Races it was a schedule thing that didn’t happen soon enough. Next year towards the start of the rug season maybe we can do a bigger oval race. So until then don't pull a Brian and sell your stuff, because next year is sure to be as good as or better than this year.
If anyone gets pan car before next year give me a shout, I will be more than willing to help with set-up - building or tips. Andy, you are the exception.lol
Thanks to all the racers that made the trip to keep oval alive in Monroe. I’ll be out to the off road track at least once this year just to show that an oval racer can turn the wheel to the right too. lol
boyzzracing 03-19-2008, 09:40 PM hey i jus figured out how to type on here i would like to thanks for all the racing this year im thinking of upgrading the boyzz next year to 17.5 think we will b able make a go of the class. see u guys next weekend
